This is such a thoughtful post for soccer parents navigating their child’s journey in the sport! You nailed it with the “difference makers” description—those kids who stand out are so easy to spot. But your focus on kids who may not be the dominant ones yet still have big dreams is spot-on and super valuable. The breakdown of the four coaching pillars—technical, tactical, physical, and mentality—is a fantastic guide for parents like me to assess potential without getting caught up in just flashy plays. I love how you highlight that a kid who loves the game and shows growth in these areas can still have a bright future, even if they’re not the star at 8-10. It’s a great reminder to nurture their passion and look for progress, not perfection. Any tips on helping kids build that “mentality” pillar, like boosting self-confidence off the field? #YouthSoccer #SoccerParenting #CoachingPillars
